OUR BACKGROUND IN LONG TERM CARE
Manor Farm is a family home. During the last thirty years the McNeiles have cared for many people with mental health issues who lived here as part of the family.
During that time Manor Farm has built a highly respected reputation for its involvement with people affected by mental health.
Esther, Andrew and their young family are now offering short breaks at Manor Farm.

ANDREW graduated from Oxford University's Ruskin School, with a first in Fine Art. For many years he has exhibited regularly in London and the South of England. More recently he has become increasingly interested in the role creativity can play in therapy: guests are encouraged to join in the art activities during their stay.

ESTHER was born here at Manor Farm. While she was growing up Manor Farm was run by her parents as a registered care home for people with a diagnosis of schizophrenia. Through intensive exposure during her formative years Esther has developed a deep interest in people with mental health issues. |
|
Esther graduated with the Open University with a first class degree in Psychology and hopes to continue her training to become a Chartered Counselling Psychologist.
Guests are guaranteed a sympathetic ear if they would like to take the opportunity of talking over any concerns during their stay here.

SAMUEL was born on New Year's Eve 2001. He is bright and chatty and obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine! If you don't know much about Thomas now then Samuel will be sure to bring you up to speed.
ISAAC was born in April 2004 so is our youngest. He adores his big brother and loves any attention from our visitors. Most of the time he is an angel |

Our baby daughter, Matilda, was born on the hottest day of 2006. Infact, it was the hottest day ever recorded. And the hospital had no air conditioning! Still, now that we've all cooled down, she is setting in and getting on with her big brothers. She also enjoys meeting our guests and making friends with many of them |
