| Here at Manor Farm we have welcomed a wonderful diversity of people, a diversity of backgrounds, of cultures and ages. Visitors have included large and small groups from residential care homes and supported housing schemes; individual carers holidaying with the person they care for; carers taking a break alone and some service users on their own too. We have had people ranging in age from their early twenties to a sprightly 92 year old; people from all corners of the country, and from all walks of life. When they are here guests can choose to 'join in', or do their own thing, it is entirely up to them. If possible, we group together those of similar ages or backgrounds: the friendly, family atmosphere of the farm helps everyone to relax, and chat, and meet new people - and many leave here having made good new friends. |
